With this photo I wanted to capture the 3 weeks of fallen leaves a few weeks ago in Amsterdam. I love, love, love this colour. This time of year.

Luke, I've been in Amsterdam a few times. The last trip was October '07. I live in an area of the U.S. that's known for its autumn colors...but Amsterdam in October left me breathless. As for your blog -- beautiful photo, excellent poetry.
